Micro Panel - 1 Photo Cell Controlling Multiple iDH/iDIM Cards

It is possible to use 1 Universal Indoor Photo Sensor, (UPSI), also known as the Universal Photo Cell Local, (UPC-L), the 3 wire sensor to control more than 1 photo cell input and/or 1 micro panel. To do this connect the UPSI to one micro panel as it would be for single panel control, then take a single jumper from the photo cell input of that card to the photo cell input of the second card.

From the UPSI connect the red wire to 24v connection on the first card and the photo cell input, connect the green wire to ground and the blue wire to one of the photo cell inputs 1-4, say input #1.

To connect a second input, just take a jumper from 1 input to another. I am not sure why anyone would want to do this but it will work

To connect the second card, since the ground at the photo cell input is system ground, all you have to do is take a single jumper from the photo cell input of the first card, in this case #1 that the photo cell is attached to, to the photo cell input of the second card, 1-4 that you want to use. This daisy chain method has been tested up to 4 cards
